In Janurary, we were a finalist in the BPMA Distributor of the Year awards. This was a great honour as this year we moved up to the £5 million to £10 Million category.
In February we also welcomed three new members to the team. Will joined the sales department, whilst Tia started in sales support and Callum joined as a print operative.
At the end of March, we purchased 3 top of the range embroidery machines, allowing us to offer this service as part of our in-house Digital Impression range.
In June we were delighted to be recognised by the industry and awarded the PAGE GOLD Distributor of the Year award. This is 17th consecutive year we have won an award in this category, and we couldn’t be prouder!
We also become a BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) 25-year member.
In January we officially moved into our second warehouse PW2, which has given us a further 12,000sqft of extra storage. Situated 20 yards away from our main print and warehouse operation, PW2 allows us to hold more client stock and a larger space to carry out the many fulfilment jobs we receive.
In March 2023, we took delivery of a Kongsberg cutting machine. The state of the art machine enabled us to create our own packaging in-house, including gift boxes for bottle, books etc. It also provides a new string to our bow and allows us to create banners, signage from acrylic, foamex and vinyl.
In June we were delighted to be recognised by the industry and awarded the PAGE GOLD Distributor of the Year award. This is 16th consecutive year we have won an award in this category, but 9 years since last winning GOLD! We would like to thank our suppliers for voting for us but in particular congratulate our team for working so hard and bouncing back so well after the Covid Pandemic.
In August we were delighted to announce the purchase of London based Promotional Merchandise distributor Propaganda. Propaganda is another well-established distributor that shares our values in delivering an exceptional customer experience and we look forward to introducing Team LSi, and everything we can do, to our new customers.
Towards the end of the year, we also welcomed four new starters. Our artwork team increased to four members with Jess and Aryton joining the department. Whilst Humphrey and Rian joined the LSi family as web developers.
We finished the year by smashing all of our targets and on a record year!
In March we were shortlisted as a BPMA finalist for the ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ and ended up coming in the top 3.
As from the 8th June 2022, we agreed a share purchase of Sussex Promotions Limited and their staff members joined the LSi team
In June we won the PAGE Silver Distributor of the Year award. Which is the 15th consecutive year that we have won an award in this category!
After Covid delayed the 2019 B2B Marketing Expo, it was finally time for LSi to hit the road and exhibit at the rescheduled 2022 B2B Marketing Expo. Based at the Excel in London and being the first major show we have exhibited at since Covid
In December we acquired a new warehouse unit that sits directly behind the existing Print Works Warehouse, in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
In order to refresh our memories on everything we can produce in-house, in April we had a product and service training day.
In July we ran our biggest campaign to date – Bounce Back With LSi. This included us sending a 15 item box out to our customers, as well as over 1500 space hoppers!
October saw LSi once again be awarded the PAGE Silver Distributor of the Year award.
In February, we were a finalist in the BPMA Distributor of the Year awards.
In March, the UK went into lockdown due to covid and the LSi clerical team starting working from home, allowing us to keep the business running throughout the pandemic.
On Saturday 23rd of May, Lloyd Simpson AKA Captain LSi, celebrated his 50th birthday in lockdown.
In the summer of 2020, LSi were once again awarded the PAGE Silver Distributor of the Year award.

On the 17th November 2019, LSi celebrated their 25th Anniversary. To commemorate the milestone Lloyd Simpson held a Gala Dinner at Aspire in Leeds where employees, friends and family, suppliers and a selection of customers were invited to help celebrate.
In the spring of 2018, LSi moved warehouse and print operations to The Print Works.
In the summer of 2018, LSi were once again awarded the PAGE Silver Distributor of the Year award.

Also in the summer of 2017, we were a finalist in the BPMA Distributor of the Year and Catalogue Cover of the Year awards.
In January 2016 LSi was awarded the PPD Best Place To Work 2016 and Constant Contact Best Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign 2015.
In the summer of 2016, LSi were awarded the PAGE Silver Distributor of the Year award.
In the summer of 2015, LSi were once again awarded the PAGE Gold Distributor of the Year award.
In our 20th anniversary year, awarded the BPMA Distributor of the Year award for the 2nd time in two years. We also won the PAGE Gold Distributor of the Year award bringing our tally to 2 Gold Awards and 3 Silver Awards in the past 5 years.
Also, in the summer of 2014, we were awarded the Kirklees Business of the Year. The Business awards are conducted by Eaton Smith Solicitors of Huddersfield and are chosen by a panel of representatives from Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, Barclays Bank, Yorkshire Bank, Eaton Smith Senior Partners and other business leaders.
LSi move into Braemar House and open the new 2000sqft showroom.
LSi awarded the BPMA Distributor of the Year award, the PAGE Partnership Silver Award, Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month and Top 10 in Sourcing City distributor awards.
LSi purchase Braemar House a 19th century Vicarage and set about refurbishing to incorporate offices, showroom and on site warehouse. LSi also gain BPMA Charter Status one of the first in the industry to gain the highest standard in the Promotional Merchandise industry.

LSi Voted "Distributor of the year" for the third time in 5 years by the members of Promota (British Advertising Gift Distributors Association). Lloyd Simpson was awarded "The Roger Saunders Award" for outstanding services to the industry. LSi voted "Gold distributor of the year" by the members of The PAGE Partnership for the second time in 3 years. LSi Runner-up "BPMA Distributor of the Year".
LSi host the 2nd "BIG Promo Gift Show" and increase attendance numbers from the previous years to a record breaking 323 attend. Themed around the Football World Cup, England legends Peter Shilton and Nobby Stiles were in attendance alongside football skills professional John Farnworth, who broke his own world record at the show, getting the LSi Big Promo Gift Show mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records.
LSi Launch the "Big Promo Gifts Show", the largest end user show for promotional merchandise attracts 200+ People to the Royal Armouries in Leeds. LSi voted "Silver Distributor of the year" by the members of The PAGE Partnership.
LSi Voted " Distributor of the Year 2007" by the members of Promota (British Advertising Gift Distributors Association).
LSi Voted "Distributor of the Year 2006" by the members of Promota (British Advertising Gift Distributors Association).
LSi Celebrates its 10th Anniversary with a trip to York races, 50 clients and staff enjoy a day of first class racing and hospitality.
LSi gains ISO9001 accreditation and becomes one of the first in the promotional industry to be awarded the standard.
September 10th - The day before that infamous day, LSi sign up for another building, this time purchasing "The Old Print Works" a former printing facility with larger storage facilities, increased office space and showroom, in turn allowing LSi to continue its steady growth.
Signature clothing is absorbed into LSi.
LSi is invited to join The PAGE Partnership - the largest buying group in the promotional industry.
Lloyd Simpson is invited to join the board of Directors at Promota (the British Gift Distributors Association) and successfully serves on the board for 2 years, before resigning to concentrate efforts on LSi.
Signature Clothing - the embroidery arm of LSi is formed and contracts with Premier League football, Formula 1 Grand Prix team Mclaren and Super League rugby sides transform the business and staff levels double inside 2 years.
LSi Ltd was formed by Lloyd Simpson having spent the previous seven years working for the largest gift house in the UK at that time.
Starting as a family business from small serviced offices at Haley House, Cleckheaton. Lloyd out selling whilst Anne (his mum) performs typing duties, LSi quickly establishes itself into one of the up and coming gift houses in the North.
