LSi Support Children in Need

In order to support Children in Need and raise as much money as possible, this year your promotional heroes came into work in fancy dress or their pyjamas and participated in the office Olympics.

After a morning of hard work and checking out everyone's fancy dress, it was time to get our game faces on and team up to see who had what it takes to become the LSi champions! The Olympics consisted of 5 team sports, a pizza break, one duck race and the crowning of the fancy dress champion.

To be able to win the Office Olympics, teams had to score the highest points on the following games:

Paper Basketball: get as many paper balls into a bin as possible in one minute

Rubberband Archery: knock over as many paper cups using elastic bands in one minute as possible

Office Pong: in one minute bounce 8 ping pong balls into paper cups that have different values

Human Curling: push a person on an office chair across the floor and get them to stop on a target

Stickerly: cover a player in as many post-it notes as possible in one minute

In the end 2 teams were tied in joint place, however, there could only be one winner! So as a tiebreaker the two teams had to race to stuff as many marshmallows in their mouths as possible. It was a close call, but in the end, it was Carmel that led her team to victory!

Congratulations to Carmel, Sadie, Ian, Brad, Olivia, Amanda, Chris, Dan B, Dan F and Jess, all who won prizes at the first LSi Office Olympics.

After a great day, we managed to raise an impressive £240 for Children in Need.
