Christmas Advent Kindness

Hello and a happy New Year to our customers! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a relatively easy first week back at work. Here at LSi we've got a busy year ahead of us, and we're really looking forward to getting stuck in. Even so, the first few weeks back in January can be a little bit bleak – so here's some nice news about a little bit of remaining Christmas spirit, to make you smile on this grey afternoon.

As you'll know if you visited our website over Christmas, we ran our annual advent calendar game over the 12 days of Christmas. It was a great success this year, and we gave away hundreds of prizes to hundreds of winners! Thank you to everyone who sent in images of themselves with their prizes – you can see them on Twitter. One of the prizes we gave away was a huge cuddly Christmas teddy bear. One of our winners was Georgina from Stockport, who won a reindeer teddy – but rather than keeping it for herself, Georgina was incredibly generous and kind and decided that her reindeer should go, in her words, to ‘someone who would appreciate it much more and would give it a loving home'. Georgina donated her teddy bear to the children's ward at Stepping Hill hospital in Stockport.

Georgina was kind enough to let us know that the reindeer went to a very poorly little 8 year old girl facing a tough diagnosis, and it really made her smile. We hope she makes a full recovery, and we're sending our best wishes to her and her family.

We're so pleased that our prize made a difference to someone at Christmas. Thank you to Georgina for her incredibly generous donation, and for letting us know about it.
